India's Next Moto Champion Karoon Murthy

Mar 06, 2010, From a Press Release

Miracles are not something you see in daily life. That is why they are miracles – Something impossible when you see it easily possible. Yes, that is what this boy superman does. He’s into racing bikes when kids his age grapples with keeping balance on a bicycle. He started burning rubber (and plenty of them too) at the age of 4 and gave many a macho riders a heavy tint of blue. He is still into that habit by hitting upto 120 kmph with ease on his pocket bike.

Within a span of just two years, he’s won accolades that would make any professional racer proud. Karoon is son of former national bike racing champion Kaushk Murthy.

And he thinks that he’s just on first gear and wants to hit it big time. He wants to break the speed barrier but the poor bikes that he has now cannot take his enthusiasm. He thinks with the right bike he can easily blast the 150 kmph barrier! Now that he’s shown Racing India what stuff he’s made off, he’s on to prove his mettle internationally. He’s now planning to take part in the World Pocket Bike Super Series to be held at Malaysia.
